AdsMinter uses FFmpeg on your own machine, so your clips never leave your disk. Finished ads land in one output folder, named by series, clip and version, and split by language.

AdsMinter is a local app. It runs on your Mac and you use it in any browser at localhost.
Install the tools
Install FFmpeg with Homebrew and Node.js 20 or later, then install AdsMinter’s packages.
Start AdsMinter
Run it and open localhost:3000. It can also start by itself at login and restart if it crashes.
Add a key for AI, if you want it
In Settings, paste an Anthropic, OpenAI or OpenRouter key for AI hooks. Add a Kie.ai key for AI footage.
Files stay on disk
Clips and finished ads live in folders on your Mac.
You pick the AI
Only AI features call the provider you chose.
Save your projects
Save a set-up batch and load it again later.
Undo anything
Command Z and Command Shift Z work across the app.

Do I need an AI key?
Only for AI features, like writing hooks, Reddit cards and translations. Adding text to your own clips works without one. Keys go in Settings.
What sizes and formats does it make?
MP4 files for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. Vertical 9:16 is typical. You can render at 1080p, 720p, 4K, or match your source.
Can it make ads in other languages?
Yes. The Multilingual Multi-Ad Grid groups your files by a language prefix in the name, and AI can translate the text. Each language gets its own folder.
Can I run it from n8n?
Yes. Create an API key in Settings and send a POST request to the render endpoint. The repo includes an n8n workflow you can import.
Are my clips uploaded anywhere?
No. Rendering happens on your Mac with FFmpeg. Only the AI features talk to the provider you picked, and only when you use them.
Does it run on Windows?
It is built and tested on macOS. It needs Node.js 20 or later and FFmpeg.
